A PARCEL-GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANYIN
16th/17th century
The Bodhisattva seated in padmasana, holding a stem in the raised
right hand and a cup in the left, the broad face with serene expression,
supporting a multi-pointed crown, the pendulous ear lobes adorned
with earrings, the flowing robes open at the chest and falling in
elaborate folds about the body.

A PARCEL-GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
Ming Dynasty
Seated in dhyanasana and wearing loose flowing robes open at the
chest, the left hand held in dhyanamudra and the right hand extending
downwards, the face with serene expression framed by tightly-curled
hair, the robes incised with floral decoration on the hems enhanced
with coloured lacquer decoration.
