                                                                     Yongzheng period yellow-glazed dishes incised with dragons are very
                                                                     rare. A similar yellow-glazed dish, Yongzheng six-character mark and
                                                                     of the period, is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, museum
                                                                     no.1492-1902. Another similar yellow-glazed dish, Yongzheng mark
                                                                     and of the period, is illustrated by A.Eggebrecht et al., China eine
                                                                     Wiege der Weltkultur, Mainz, 1994, no.268.

                                                                     A similar pair of yellow-glazed incised ‘dragon’ dishes, Yongzheng six-
                                                                     character marks and of the period, of identical size and from the same
                                                                     collection as the present lot, was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 29
                                                                     November 2016, lot 8.
