A LARGE CARVED LONGQUAN CELADON
TRIPOD CENSER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The heavily potted censer raised on three mask-
form legs is carved on the exterior with a band
of foral scroll on a wave-pattern ground, and is
covered overall with a sea-green glaze except for
the base and the center of the interior, exposing
the body burnt orange in the fring.

A CARVED LONGQUAN CELADON DISH
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The dish is carved in the center with a medallion
of trellis pattern surrounded by foral scrolls in the
well. The dish is covered inside and out with a thick
glaze of sea-green tone, except for a wide ring on
the base which has burnt orange in the fring.
