‘DRAGONS’ DISH
17th century
The gently curved sides rising from a short spreading foot to
an everted rim, the interior boldly and brightly enamelled with
two large scaly dragons in mutual pursuit of a flaming pearl
amongst ruyi-head clouds and flames, the exterior decorated
with large lotus flowers borne on meandering scrolls.
