A RARE INCISED YELLOW-GLAZED This charming dish is notable for its rare and འ͍ රཊฮڀؒᚲ༽ᙧྡʃᆵ
‘PINE AND CRANE’ SAUCER DISH delicately incised auspicious design of cranes and ɽའ͍ϋႡಛ
pine tree. Only a few dishes with this particular
YONGZHENG MARK AND PERIOD Ը๕
design appear to be recorded. Compare a nearly
superbly potted with the shallow rounded sides identical dish in the Wangxinglou Collection, Carretierdࡐd1937ϋ2˜24˚
rising from a short, slightly tapered foot, the illustrated in Imperial Perfection. The Palace Bluett & Sons Ltd dࡐd1937ϋ8˜13˚
interior $ nely incised with a central medallion Porcelain of Three Chinese Emperors. A Selection Basil Drewe 1894 1974 ϗᔛ
enclosing a pair of cranes standing amid from the Wang Xing Lou Collection, Hong Kong,
rockwork and lingzhi beneath an overhanging pine 2004, pl. 93; and another sold in our Hong Kong
tree, the exterior with $ ve bats in ! ight among rooms, 17th May 1988, lot 77. Compare also a
cloud scrolls, covered overall with a pale lemon green-glazed example, in the Nanjing Museum,
yellow glaze, save for the base reserved in white, Nanjing, illustrated in Xu Huping, ed., Treasures
inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze in the Royalty. The O# cial Kiln Porcelain of the
blue Chinese Qing Dynasty, Shanghai, 2003, pl. 160;
