Each belt hook is carved and pierced with a dragon-head terminal
and has a shaft surmounted by a chilong with a circular button to the
underside. The stones are of a pale, even celadon tone.

A PALE CELADON JADE ‘TWIN CATFISH’ BOWL
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 青白玉年年有餘碗
The bowl is carved in shallow relief to the rounded sides with a band of archaistic taotie masks between bands of lappets
to the mouth and the base. The centre of the interior is carved in high relief with a design of twin catfsh trailing sprigs of
lingzhi fungus in their mouths. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with scattered cloudy white fecks and inclusions.
