(1723-1795)

清雍正/乾隆 青花雲龍趕珠紋碗「致遠堂製」雙框楷書款

The bowl is decorated to the exterior with two sinuous fve-clawed dragons amidst scrolling clouds and
fames, above a stylised band of waves encircling the foot.

Compare the current bowl to a similar example, dating to the Qianlong period, which sold at Christie’s
Hong Kong, 29 May 2013, lot 2267.

The mark Zhiyuan Tang Zhi may be translated as ‘Made for the Far Distant Hall’. This hall mark is
recorded as having been used for a number of blue and white bowls of dragon and clouds design dating
to the Qianlong period.
