A COMPLETE SET OF TWENTY-FOUR RICE CULTIVATION By repute, acquired by Sir William Adamson, C.M.G. (1832-1917) in the mid-
‘TILLING AND WEAVING’ PAINTINGS, GENGZHI TU 19th century when working in Singapore, and then by descent. Sir William
19TH CENTURY recommended Anna Leonowens to King Mongkut of Siam, who became
governess to the royal children in the Court of Siam in 1862.
