The album contains seventy watercolours on paper depicting Chinese fowers,
fruits, insects and fsh with English captions.
According to the album notes, thirty drawings signed with ‘D’ are painted by
a Western painter named Dellow in Macau between 1793-1794, the rest by
anonymous Cantonese painters at the same period.
