A GILT, ROBIN’S EGG-BLUE AND AUBERGINE-
GLAZED FIGURE OF A SEATED BODHISATTVA
19TH CENTURY

清十九世紀 爐鈞釉描金菩薩坐像

The fgure is seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base and the
hands are held together holding a pearl. He wears long robes,
elaborate jewellery and a headdress.

A DOUCAI ‘DRAGON AND FISH’ DISH
18TH CENTURY

清十八世紀 鬥彩雲龍趕珠紋小盤

The dish is decorated to the interior with a writhing
fve-clawed dragon surrounded by a band of fsh leaping
from waves. The back is enamelled with a band of waves
encircling the foot. There is an apocryphal Chenghua mark
to the base.
