The bowl is decorated and gilt with various auspicious fowers,
fruits and vegetables, including peonies, prunus, arrowroot,
Rohdea japonica, and spring onion.

清光緒 粉彩龍鳳紋圓蓋盒 六字楷書款
The cover is decorated and gilt with a dragon chasing the
faming pearl and a phoenix in a circular panel surrounded by a
band of fower scrolls. The box base is decorated with a further
striding dragon and phoenix above foaming waves.
