A CARVED CELADON-GLAZED JAR
EARLY 18TH CENTURY
清十八世紀初 粉青釉刻纏枝蓮紋罐
The jar is crisply carved to the exterior with a broad
band of leafy lotus scrolls, between ruyi heads
to the mouth and stylised waves to the foot. It is
covered in a pale bluish-celadon glaze, pooling to a
darker tone within the crevices of the decoration.

A CELADON-GLAZED MOULDED
‘DRAGON’ CHARGER
明式青釉雲龍趕珠紋大盤
The charger is moulded in relief and reserved
in the biscuit with a dragon chasing the faming
pearl between cloud scrolls. The well is carved
with fowing stylised branches and the everted
rim is decorated with fower heads. The dish
is covered with a sea-green crackled celadon
glaze .
