‘MYTHICAL BEAST’ DISHES

清康熙 青花瑞獸紋盤 一組三件
The dishes are variously enamelled in
vibrant blue tones with mythical beasts in a
landscape, one is painted with a pair of horses
and a bat hovering above, another with a qilin
confronting a bird, and the third with a pair
of lions.

‘LOTUS’ BOTTLE VASES

清十九/二十世紀 青花八寶蓮紋
瓶一對
Each vase is decorated to the lower globular
body in various tones of blue with scrolling
lotus between a band of Buddhist symbols
and a band of lappets. The shoulders are
decorated with stylised waves below further
lotus scroll at the faring necks.
