A RARE BLUISH-WHITE-GLAZED MOLDED ‘CHILONG’ DISH

YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND
OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)

The dish with rounded sides is relief-decorated in the center with a chilong grasping stems of
lingzhi below a band of key-fret at the rim, and the exterior is decorated in low relief with a
band of further chilong with backward-turned heads grasping lingzhi stems, all under a glaze of
pale blue tone.
