A GREENISH-WHITE JADE EWER AND COVER

18TH-19TH CENTURY

The fattened body of rectangular section is fnely carved on each slightly convex side with a
gnarled, fowering, prunus tree and chrysanthemum, the scenes fanked by the curved spout
and the elegant scroll handle. The cover, with sloping sides, is decorated on each side with
tendrils, below a rectangular knob.
