A YELLOW-GROUND GREEN ‘DRAGON’ BOWL
Kangxi mark and of the period
Potted with rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a flared
rim, the exterior incised with two scaly dragons striding in pursuit
of flaming pearls, the design accented with green enamel, the foot
inscribed in underglaze-blue with the six-character mark within a
double-circle beneath a clear glaze.
