plumage picked out in rust-red and shades of
blue and green, and couched thread accents,
with peonies, bamboo, lingzhi and wutong tees,
all against a sky of gold-wrapped threads, the
rectangular valance with a celestial landscape
anked by ruyi clouds and a pair of cranes, all
against a coral ground, each panel with borders of
gilt and blue kuilong on black ground, framed
