the rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a ared rim, the
exterior brightly enameled in red, green, and aubergine with
two striding ve-clawed dragons in pursuit of ‘ aming pearls’
amidst ame scrolls and cloud wisps, all above a border of
petal lappets at the foot, the interior with a central medallion
enclosing a green dragon in pursuit of a ‘ aming pearl,’
the base with a six-character mark within a double circle in
underglaze blue, the fth claw of each dragon e aced, the rim
bound in metal
