A PAIR OF ‘YAOZHOU’                                    Persimmon-glazed wares in the Song dynasty
PERSIMMON-GLAZED BOWLS                                 (960-1279) were produced at several kilns in
NORTHERN SONG                                          North China; the most famous being those of
                                                       the Ding and Yaozhou kilns in Hebei and Shaanxi
