each of elongated ovoid form rising to a short waisted neck
and painted with gnarled twin pine trees growing beside
rockwork and leafy bamboo, one with a moon emerging from
mist in the distance (2)

the deep sides rising from a tapered foot to an everted rim,
the exterior painted with four cartouches featuring scenes of
genteel life, the cartouches linked by clouds, the interior with
a central medallion of three boys playing, a diaper-and- ower
band at the rim, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with
an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark within a double-
circle, Japanese wood box (2)
