of attened baluster form, the ovoid body rising from a ared
of faceted form, carved in openwork with a chilong bracing base encircled with a raised let, to a long neck anked by
a corner and coveting a ‘ aming pearl’ carved in high relief openwork scroll handles and surmounted by a lipped mouth,
amidst scrolled clouds and a bat in ight, above crashing with low relief carved archaistic decoration to the neck and
waves and rockwork issuing lingzhi, the cover surmounted body, the stone of a translucent white with a patch of opaque
by a phoenix-form nial, its tail feathers curling downwards white inclusions, wood box (2)
