the ovoid body raised on a splayed foot and rising
to a waisted neck and ared rim, the shoulders Heber R Bishop 1840 1902
set to each side with shallow relief-molded lion-
mask handles suspending mock rings, brilliantly
painted in deep tones of underglaze blue, with a
large Buddhist lion seated beside lingzhi on one
side, and a smaller lion beneath a willow tree on
the other, with two lingzhi and oral sprays to the
mouth
