          A FAMILLE VERTE DISH
          KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE
          AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
          The dish is enameled in the center with a jardinière that is fanked on both sides with two vases, containing
          various fowers including peonies, prunus, wisteria, and magnolia. The wide, everted rim is decorated with
          eight cartouches enclosing alternating scenes of mythical animals and fowers. The underside is further
          decorated with fowering branches.
