A YELLOW-GROUND GREEN-ENAMELED ‘DRAGON’ BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE
WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The exterior is incised and decorated in green enamel with two dragons in pursuit of faming pearls amidst
wispy clouds and fames, below a scrolling foliate band around the rim, and the interior is decorated with
a central shou character within a double circle, all reserved on an opaque lemon-yellow ground.
