A LONGQUAN CELADON ‘LOTUS’ BOWL AND COVER
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The deep sides are carved on the exterior with overlapping petals and the bowl is covered inside and out
below the unglazed rim with an unctuous bluish-green glaze. The cover is similarly carved and glazed.
