A RARE MASSIVE BLUE AND WHITE CHARGER
JIAJING SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE IN A LINE
AND OF THE PERIOD (1522-1566)
The heavily potted charger is decorated in the center of the interior with four fsh amidst a lotus
pond, all within line borders and repeated as a frieze on the exterior where the reign mark is written
in a panel below the rim. The base is unglazed.
