A VERY RARE PAIR OF FAMILLE VERTE DISHES
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE
WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
Each is fnely enameled in the center with two kingfshers fying above a
fowering lotus plant bearing one aubergine and one iron-red fower, with an
emerging bud at the side, all surrounded by large green leaves, below a foral
diaper border at the rim.
