A SET OF THREE GREEN JADE VESSELS
19th century
Comprising: a quatre-foil flattened beaker vase, gu, with loose ring
handles and a taotie mask; a tripod vessel and cover, carved with lotus
flowers and flanked with lingzhi-form handles; and a small box and
cover, all three carved from a greyish celadon stone, wood stands,
fitted hardwood box. The largest: 13cm (5 1/8in) high (9).

The cylindrical vessel raised on three monster mask legs, flanked with
winged mythical beasts, carved in low relief with gui dragons, the lid
with a crouching dragon finial. 19cm (7 1/2in) high (2).
