Enamelled to the interior with butterflies
and prunus blossom, the exterior with bats
suspending Buddhist attributes and four
roundels enclosing the characters for ‘ten
thousand years of boundless longevity’, with
a tapering handle and scrolled gilt-decorated

The first dish finely painted to the interior
with a writhing five-clawed dragon stretching
towards a flaming pearl, the exterior with two
further dragons; the second smaller dish with
a lotus flower head meander to the interior
and exterior. The largest: 18.5cm (7 1/4in)
