With upright loop handle, the body painted with panels of precious
objects and brocade pendants, alternating with flowering, leafy peony
stems, beneath a moulded bracket-lobed collar with floral panels on a
swastika ground, the cover similarly decorated.

The first ‘kraakporselein’ dish painted with a flowerbasket on a
rootwood stand, surrounded with panels enclosing sunflowers and
Daoist attributes; the second smaller dish with deer in a landscape.

A FAMILLE VERTE ‘MAGNOLIA’ DISH
Kangxi
Finely enamelled and lavishly gilt with a gnarled and flowering magnolia
tree at the centre, chrysanthemums flowering at the base, the cavetto
with a band of flowerheads and shaped-panels containing further
sprigs of flowers, the rim with floral sprays issuing from rocks. 35cm
(13 3/4in) diam.
