Qinghua Zhenpin four-character mark, J.P. Reeves was a member of the British Yongzheng
Republic Period diplomatic corps and was stationed in the Each rectangular planter with a flaring body
The bowl with an inset foot, enamelled to Far East from 1933 until 1950. He started on an openwork plinth, finely enamelled to
the exterior with two magpies perched on a his career in Beijing and finished as consul in each face with narrative scenes, the mouth
prunus branch heavy with blossom. Macao. rims fitted with gilt-bronze embellishments.
13.1cm (5 1/8in) diam. (2). Each: 24cm (9 1/2in) wide (2).
