cartouche enclosing a monogram ‘SCW’ section, enamelled and gilt with the arms of Burg.Co.Tyr.1820x’, within a black enamelled
flanked with cherubs and a crown, the Molleson, surmounted by a Saracen’s head border reserved in gilt with a foliate meander.
Neoclassical mounts cast as handles with and bearing the motto ‘Fax Mentis Honestae 17.8cm (7in) diam. (6).
Grecian faces, raised on a stem base with a Gloria’, the sides with floral sprigs, all within
quatre-foil foot, the lid with a beaded edge, spearhead borders. £800 - 1,200
