Dated by inscription to the 16th year of
Guangxu (corresponding to AD1891) and of
the Period
Each tapering cylindrical vessel finely incised
with extensive inscriptions suggesting that
they were presented as a gift to a taxation
official in the area of Donghai, the bases with
maker’s marks. 11.5cm (4 1/2in) high (2).
