Painted upon a Vase of porcelain decorated, in various
colours, with a portrait of Onono Komachi, a lady of great
beauty who lived in ancient days. Nip-pon, Se-to, Ka-to Kishi-
TA-RO KORE o sEisu. Kato Kiskitaro, Seio, Japan, makes this.
The inscription at the side reads: 0 -nono Ko-machi no dzu.

IcHi-RAKu YEGAKu. Painted by Okawa Ichiraku, Tokio. The
lower character is the mark of the painter.

Impressed upon a Tea Bowl of porcelain, made at Seto
by a member of the family of Yeiraku, of Kioto, who has
recently * settled in Owari. Yei-raku, the seal of the maker.
