Painted in blue upon a circular Jar of Mikawachi porcelain
decorated in blue. Dai Thsing, Ken-riu, Itsu-bi, nen sei.
Made in the year of Kenrm, in the Zodiac year of the Sheep,
during the dynasty of Dai Thsing. A forgery of the Chinese
mark of the Khien-long period.
No. 26.
Painted in blue upon a Basin of fine Old Japan. Gen-ki,
nen sei. Made in the year of Genki; a Japanese period dating
from 1570 to 1573 A.D.
Painted in blue upon a Jar of Old Japan in the Dresden
Collection. Fu-ki Cho-shun. Fuki Choshun, a phrase
signifying Fortune and Longevity. Fuki means wealth,
prosperity, or luck, and Choshun means Long spring.
