          A SOAPSTONE FIGURE OF A LUOHAN
          17TH-18TH CENTURY
          The fgure is shown seated with its long robes falling open at the chest and
          draped over his knees. He is holding a scroll in his left hand. His robe is incised
          with lotus fowers and his facial features and hair are fnely detailed. The stone
          is of an opaque yellowish cream tone.

          QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
          The square seal is surmounted by a fnial carved as a seated mythical beast
          with long curved horns. The details of the face, backbone and tail are fnely
          detailed. The stone is of a rich, reddish-honey tone.
