17TH CENTURY ZHENGDE PERIOD, DATED BY INSCRIPTION TO THE THIRD YEAR OF
The heavily cast censer is decorated to the sides with stylized upright lotus THE ZHENGDE REIGN, CORRESPONDING TO 1509
