A GROUP OF THREE CARVED ARCHERS RINGS
19th century
The first of cylindrical shape carved to display a wide russet
color flat edge on one side, the stone of otherwise uniform
greenish hue; the second and third carved to the exterior
surfaces in repeating c-scroll patterns, one from stone of
darker irregularly brownish hue and one from stone of more
green-white color.

A GROUP OF THREE CARVED JADE PEBBLES
19th century
All of irregularly ovoid form displaying notable patches of russet
colored ‘skin,’ the first a yellowish lotus pod head, the second
an irregularly shaped seal surmounted by a mythical beast
finial, the third a small carving of a monkey surmounting a rock.

A CALCIFIED JADE CARVING OF A STANDING GUANYIN
Late Qing/Republic period
Depicted holding a kalasa vessel upside down and attired in
flowing robes open to reveal a tall chignon, elaborate jewelry,
and bare feet; the stone of standard ‘chicken bone’ hue of 1121
streaked gray and cream color.

AN AMETHYST SCULPTURE OF A STANDING GUANYIN
Qianlong mark, Late Qing/Republic Period
Displaying standard iconography of flowing robes and
elaborate jewels, the four-character mark incised to the
underside in seal script behind the heels; all carved from stone
displaying variegated shades of translucent purple.
