The grooved and tapered shaft narrowing to an animal head and
inlaid with a complex pattern of interlocking geometric design
in gold and turquoise, the underside cast with a bronze raised
boss attachment.

A BRONZE WATER DROPPER TANG DYNASTY
Tang dynasty or later
Sensitively cast as a recumbent goose, its wings and tail
feathers gracefully windswept and with finely incised details, an
aperture at their crest, the small head and delicate eyes framed
by a overarching crest, over a round breast pierced on the
underside near the webbed feet.

TWO BRONZE SEAL PASTE BOXES AND COVERS
Ming dynasty
The first a circular box, well cast in low relief with a network
of plum branches and tree peonies on the cover, a garland
of seasonal flowers on the base, all on a stippled ground
showing traces of gilt, the second a square sided silver inlaib
box with geometric panels enclosing a plain center, both boxes
degraded. 3in (7.7cm) diam and 2 1/2in (6.3cm) long
