seated figure of Amitayus lacking his attribute and unsealed, and the
third a seated figure of Manjusri.

A GILT BRONZE STUPA
18th century
Solidly cast with a sealed square-section base with pairs of Buddhist
lions flanking the three jewels of Buddhism on each side, the dome
housing a niche, the dome surmounted by a tapered parasol flanked
by trailing garlands beneath a sun and moon finial.

dated to Jiajing (1521-1567) first year by inscription 1193
The seated figure holding a mongoose, his right hand in vitarka mudra
and seated on a plain platform base, wearing monk’s robes and with
shaven head, a sixteen character seal mark cast into his back, overall
traces of gilt remaining.

Raised on a separately cast lotus petal base, the serene crowned deity
holding a kalasa in one hand, the other raised in vitarka mudra, the
shoulders set off by a short cape over flowing robes.
