1199 A POLYCHROME INCISED LACQUER LOBED BOX AND COVER
17th/18th century
The five lobed box finely incised and lacquered with central field of a
bird on a branch of flowering plum on a lozenge ground, enclosed by a
keyfret border over a garland of lotus blossoms repeated on the base,
the interior with a five line poem inlaid in mother of pearl.
