A CARVED AND INSCRIBED WHITE JADE ‘DRAGON’ BRUSH
QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The brush is intricately carved with a fve-clawed dragon striding amidst scrolling clouds, beside the
characters Qianlong nian zhi incised in a vertical line. The top of the brush is decorated with a fnial shaped
as a foral bud. The stone is of an even pale tone.
