A CELADON JADE RUYI SCEPTRE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The sceptre has a large ruyi-shaped head carved in shallow relief with fowers and rocks. The gently curved
and tapering shaft is carved with lilies and rocks at the terminal. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with
some russet and snowy inclusions.
