A PINK-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE ‘MEDALLION’ BOWL
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
(1821-1850)
The exterior is enamelled with four roundels enclosing various foral sprays, divided by stylised lotus
blooms set against a sgrafiato ground. The interior is painted in underglaze blue with a rabbit resting
under a tree, surrounded by four foral branches.
