A GROUP OF QINGBAI VESSELS
SOUTHERN SONG-YUAN DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH
CENTURY
The group comprises a small ewer with
rounded sides carved with narrow vertical
bands, a small melon-form box and cover,
a small box and cover molded on the
cover with blossoming prunus, and a box
and cover molded with a leafy branch and
molded with lobed sides. All are covered
with a glaze of pale aqua color.
The ewer 5 in. (12.6 cm.) wide, one cloth

TWO SAGGARS CONTAINING QINGBAI
BOWLS
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The saggars contain and are fused to two
qingbai bowls, both concave in the center and
molded with petal-lobed rims, and covered
in a glaze of pale whitish-blue color.
The largest 7º in. (18.3 cm.) diam. (2)
