100 | Bonhams Carved in four separate pieces, the Empress
of Heaven seated on an ornate throne,
holding a ruyi sceptre and wearing an
elaborate phoenix headdress, flanked with
two fan-bearing attendants, the brown marble
base carved in openwork with flowers. 54cm
(21 1/4in) high (4).

Two thumb rings and a pair of
silver-filigree and enamel ducks
Late Qing Dynasty and later
The coconut thumb ring carved in low
relief with double happiness’ characters
and scholars, the gilt-metal thumb ring
embellished with scrolling enamelled chilongs
chasing a pearl, stamped makers mark; the
pair of covered silver, filigree and enamelled
vessels modelled as a male and female
mandarin duck; together with a pressed
amber snuff bottle.
The ducks: 15cm (5 7/8in) long (7).

Comprising a large agate ‘dragon’ belt
buckle, wood stand; a spinach green foliated
dish with incised floral motifs; a yellow metal
mounted jadeite bi; an agate pendant carved
with a fish-dragon and cash; a serpentine
square seal; and a mottled white and apple
green chalcedony seal carved as a group of
monkeys clambering over a fruiting peach
tree.
The belt buckle: 13cm (5 1/8in) long (7).
