Qianlong four-character mark and probably of

6 | Bonhams The bowl embellished to the interior and
exterior with a dense pattern of five-clawed
dragons amongst scrolling flowers, all
between a ruyi-head band at the mouth rim
and lappet border at the foot, the stone of a
mottled celadon hue, wood stand. 15.1cm (5
7/8in) diam. (2).

Set on short feet with gently flaring rims,
the semi-translucent stone with natural dark
mottling.

A white jade lobed box and cover
Carved from a pale, luminous stone with
some streaked mottled white inclusions, the
cover with an archaistic design of a stylised
phoenix and dragon in flight amongst clouds,
the sides left plain.
