1970年前後 王習三 玻璃内畫戲嬰圖鼻煙壺
Provenance:
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Trojan
Sotheby’s New York, A Private Collection, 17 March 1997, lot 462
The seal Ji was one the artist appears to have used while working at
Hengshui under the One Bottle Studio banner. It was a short form for
the character meaning Hebei province, the Ji School being Wang’s
own. For further discussion see Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka
Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles, The Mary and George
Bloch Collection, Vol. 4, Part 2, Inside Painted, Hong Kong, 2000, p.
589, no. 667.
