A FAMILLE VERTE BEAKER VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The lower register of the vase is decorated with
dragons chasing faming pearls, butterfies and
fower blossoms, the rounded, central section with
roundels enclosing mythical beasts and composite
fower blossoms, the upper register with further
panels of dragons and qilin amidst fowers.
19 in. (48.2 cm.) high.

A very similar famille verte beaker vase of
comparable size was sold at Sotheby’s London,
