                         The present figure appears to be a deity from the group   are particularly popular in Nepal where the present work
                         of Pancharaksha, or Five Protector Goddesses. The   was cast. The inscription on the lower rim of the base dates
                         Pancharaksha are a group of five female deities personifying   the work to the year 1749 and likely attributes the donor as
                         five  sutra;  however, they are difficult to identify individually   Radrasvari Mavi. It reads:
